It’s been nearly a year when I posted a blog post about the launch of BangaloreHackers. At that point of time there was a bookmarking stuff about hacking / security testing. Later, we thought this wasn’t what we wanted to have. We wanted to have discussions happening [Ah! Not definitions which happens in most of the discussion forums]. LN, one of the core members of returned back to Bangalore from business trip and that was the time when LN & I met and thought of taking this forward. We decided on some things,

  • Discussion forum platform
  • Dedicated to Ethical Hacking
  • Finalizing the moderators to keep the forums clean out of spam & people who ask, “What is Hacking?” “What certification should I do”? and the definitions stuff
  • Organizing hacking competitions, meet-ups and lots more
  • Merchandize – T-Shirt giveaways during competitions / meet-ups for the passionate people
  • Lots more to come
